Fascia and shelf are done

Today I put the last coats of satin varnish on the shelf surface. Have to admit this sort of painting is a pain. But I like the result. The varnish should protect the wood as I use it as a shelf. Great place to set the NCE controller as well as switch lists and loads coming off the layout or ready to go into a staged car.

The extra is a bit of the staging yard that got the same treatment.

The boxes under the table are relocated from the garage. Needed more space there.
