Look!!!

We've had a quiet day, which has done us all a lot of good.  

Little Gems this morning, which I love.  No, nothing will ever compare to FUF's in Cirencester, it's in a different league, but Little Gems is utterly lovely.  It feels like longer than a week since we were last there - that must be what a busy week does.  The youngest had his face pinched by another little boy, which scratched him, if it was a one off, I sort of wouldn't mind, but it's happened many times by this particular boy and is becoming a bit tricky to manage. 

Took the boys out for a walk this afternoon - I'd found a new pony for the eldest to say hello to.  Great, the eldest refused to walk there, or back, so was carried (with the youngest on my back). He then refused to go in the house when we got home, with me refusing his request to be carried back to see the pony again.  2 year old stand-off, always good for testing patience. We came to a compromise, walked a little more, then home for bath, dinner and bed, quickly as all three were much needed. It's tough being 2 sometimes.
