Mother and Child

My friend Clare came round to introduce me to her new baby. She's only a few days old and so adorable. 

Strange things babies. I'm a sucker for a newborn.  Clare's first was a boy who was blipped a few days older than his new sister.  He was a wailer!  My goodness that child had a pair of lungs on him. Now 5 years old, he's a shy child, still gurns a lot and hides behind his mother's legs.

Child no 2 was completely different. She came into the world with a gurgle and smile on her face. She soon learnt how to get what she wanted.  She's adorable today, 4  years going on 18. She's confident, very bright and equally bossy. 

This little lady is such a contented soul, barely a sound came from her. She fed and was burped in almost complete silence.  She's pretty and her skin is unblemished. 

Clare said, third time lucky, that this might be the perfect one!
