Happy Birthday, Everyone

Feeling super! I’m convinced that the best cure to flu and fever is sweat. After 2 days of sweat sloshing home yoga and cotton and wool cocooning I’m reborn a fit man; ready to take on the world and brave faculty meetings!

I can’t recall now if there was anything important discussed in it only the long overdue birthday cake for 33 lecturers. Fazini insisted on reading out everyone’s names and birthdates, effectively keeping us all salivating as I lit the cake’s 1 candle (a few times; lighting a candle takes approximately 4 names done slow). I noted how the cake had the caramel glaze partially dripping down its sides like Liam’s artsy cake finishing. The Bake Off has turned me into this hyper alert baked goods critic.
