Messing about on the river!

Today Nick and Sarah took the day off work and we all canoed along the Themes to a pub they know well. As we pulled the canoes up and turned them over the rain pelted down....so we ran inside as fast as wee could.

Inside was warm and friendly and had an interesting mixture of people just out casually having a lunch or drink, people dressed smart for a special meal (Grandad's birthday beside us!) and us....with our paddles, buoyancy aids and water proofs!!!

Lovely meal and by the time we'd finished it had dried up again. :)
