Thursday: Belated Thanksgiving

It was a holiday here on Monday for Canadian Thanksgiving. My colleagues had a nice idea and suggested a belated potluck lunch to celebrate. So today we all downed tools for a couple of hours, brought in food and ate our lunch together in the conference room. It was really nice - we didn't talk about work at all. We've decided we're going to do something similar about once a month.

One of the less successful food items was vegan chai ice cream. I tried a bit but think I'll pass in the future.
