A day out...

...at the Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh. I was to meet J to visit the exhibition of British Realist Art between the Wars, before it closes in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, he had to cancel due to a date with a new sofa! So I had the opportunity to wander round by myself, which I really enjoyed, as many of the exhibits reminded me of the paintings my art teacher used to show us at school in the 1960's.

The couple in the picture have been having a day out in the gallery for at least two decades!
