Wasdale (Day 890)

It was a bit damp and breezy as I took the woofers up the hill this morning, but the wind seemed a bit warmer than of late.
The morning passed doing bits of paperwork and sorting some stuff around the house until my beautiful wife returned from her overnight shift at work. We chatted over coffee, and after an early lunch headed to Wasdale as the weather improved. We walked along under blue skies and were warmed by the lovely sunshine. Back home too soon, HV organised herself and zoomed off to work.
A little later I went off to deal with a blocked waste pipe from a washing machine. It is perhaps the most bizarre blockage I have ever retrieved - a long, slim paintbrush. I fished it out and presented it to the hugely embarrassed customer. She had used it months ago to poke down the pipe which she thought had been blocked. It fell into the pipe and she was unable to retrieve it, but thought it wouldn't cause any harm. Ooops!
