Lunch at the Marcliffe

I have been invited to lunch at the Marcliffe today, Aberdeen's only five star hotel a few miles out of the centre. The occasion is the long service anniversary of two of my former colleagues.

I was a little early so I took this photograph in reception while I was waiting for everybody else to arrive. I used the phone to make a panorama, and I confess it has not done a great job. I would have done better to take separate photos and stitch them together in Photoshop. A lesson learned for next time I take a panorama.

There were about ten of us for lunch. It was good to meet up with everybody and catch up on developments.
