A Swan to be.

This ugly duckling is well on its way to be a beautiful swan. It was a lovely morning and when Blip Mate and I visited Sanctuary Ponds, it seemed like all the birds were out and about enjoying it too.

This is one of the two cygnets in residence here. Blipmate blipped them several weeks ago and it is amazing just how much they had grown since then. Now I know where the nest is, I must visit them more frequently to observe the changes as they grow.

The swan parents are black but the cygnets start off white .
