Magnolia......

.....called Yellow Bird.

Every year I look and wait, new leaves appear and I think 'it's not going to flower' and then the delicate yellow flowers arrive, surprises and delights me without fail :)

I long for the day when the tree will be bigger than it is and instead of 3 flowers there'll be masses. Just had to blip this one as it's the surprise of the day.

Saturday - warm, sunny, light breeze, good for hand washing knitwear. Thunderstorms are supposed to arrive, no sign of yet.
