" A ROOM WITH A VIEW "

Following on from our visit to Santorini, another day sailing took us to Piraeus, a short bus ride and we climbed up high to see the Acropolis.  I chose the capture so you could how high it was and how busy!!

We all had to queue and pay 20 euros to get in.  It was very hot and the stone steps were slippery worn down by all the feet.  It is a gigantic project costing millions but it be worth preserving for the generations to come.

The weather here on Saturday 14 October is very humid and cloudy.  Matthew is here enjoying his holiday.
