" THE MAGIC OF SANTORINI "

I had difficulty deciding on which of my captures to post for this amazing island.  I'm sure some of you know how it came into being after a huge volcano erupted with such a force and noise it could be heard across the world.  What you now see is how the land sunk and is now covered by the sea with the villages clinging onto the cliffs.

We had a very exciting day here with wine tasting, riding on the cable cars to return to the ship and collecting some of the volcanic stones on the beach.  It was a day to remember forever.
