Muncaster Kereru

A day in which I read much of a book, went out to lunch with my niece and one of her daughters, then visited S' cousin's wife on our way home. I wandered around with my camera, and was able to get photos of Californian quail, and tui, before a couple of large Kereru (native wood pigeons) flew into one of the large trees which is getting fresh new leaves. I was able to get a clear shot of one of them.

Then a third came swooping in (the first extra), only to be denied landing rights. The second extra is it departing as quickly as it came.
