Women Ignited Now

Today there was a big rally in town for women and their allies called W.I.N. (Women Ignited Now).

It was the brainchild of State Senator Paula Aboud. It was educational, informational and a call to action. Arizona is one of the most regressive states in the nation when it comes to women's reproductive health.

In Arizona, women of child-bearing age are technically pregnant for two weeks every month - even if they haven't had sex.

In Arizona, a woman can be fired from her job if she uses birth control for - birth control.

In the past three years there have been thirty (30) anti-women bills in our legislature.

We are energized. We are ignited. We will vote. We will make a difference.
