Moor Woods

I have deleted the post of the coal tit because I can post birds anytime. This is one of three enormous beech trees growing on giant rocks behind which is a sunken lane . See here..  Took Mr P on a circular walk starting and finishing at The Rock and including the sunken lane which I had not explored fully before.   Trying to imagine how the lane got there in the first place, did men carve it out?  Lovely sunny day.
