Open your eyes, look up to the skies

Well what weird weather . It went darker and darker  this morning and then the light turned a very strange orangey yellow colour. It was  caused by dust and smoke being borne along by ex hurricane Ophelia. When the sun finally appeared it was orange and very dull and the light coloured carpet upstairs turned pink in its light. Apart from it being a bit windy and oddly warm there was no harm done.
Such sad news from Ireland though where several people have died in storm related accidents.
Mono Monday's theme is movement. These poplar tees were blowing around in the wind and I got some blurry movement shots but I preferred the 'frozen' movement of the faster shutter speed.
