Dark bank of low cloud over Inverness this evening, as viewed from beside the castle. Looks brighter over the Black Isle, and further North.
With the dire forecast, it was a car day for a change. Had to put some fuel in it... for the first time since the end of June. Also had to put a fair amount of air in the front tyres before leaving... well. attempting to leave. One of the rear brakes had seized on, but freed-up eventually.
Two shots stitched together for the above. It would've been better earlier, with a bit more light to brighten the foreground areas. That dark cloud was hanging about for a while before I reached the castle.
