The Big Burn at a more normal level here, for a change. First time I've managed to walk across that wee footbridge, without needing wellies, in several years. The ditch it was across, has all silted up, due to a blockage in the burn - caused by several fallen trees - out of frame.

That leaning tree is a Wych Elm - one that appears to dying from Dutch Elm Disease, like so many others locally. I wonder how long it'll be before its roots start to rot, and give way. Perhaps I won't sit on that bench... for a while.
