Climbing Girls

A pretty busy day today!
Dropping off the Little Misses first thing; Sing and Sign lessons; home to walk Archie before picking up the Little Misses for Miss L's swimming; a half hour visit to Gawcott Park to climb trees before heading to Mrs K's house for an 11+ session for Miss E while Miss L and I headed back to Tescos for a quick shop.
Mr K met us there and I had planned to drop him and Miss L home before going back to pick Miss E up. Naturally we lost track of time so there wasn't time to get home and it became a family outing to get Miss E.
She enjoyed her session and spent the journey home studying her synonym cards!
We've told her she doesn't have to have tuition but she's so excited about it and has been super keen and enthusiastic since the assessment over the Summer holidays. We're in the ridiculous position of being parents who'd rather their child wasn't thinking about the 11+ yet but with a child who is desperate to get started and wants to do the extra lessons. A bit of a role reversal!!
I've said the minute she whinges about having to go out on a Thursday night or having extra work to do then we'll stop the sessions until much later next year. 
We'll see how long her enthusiasm lasts! 
When we eventually got home there was just time for a quick dinner and then slumping on the sofa in an exhausted heap.
