Eerie Sky

What a perculiar day. Warm this morning and getting warmer as the day progressed. Then suddenly the sky over London changed. It was orange, then it was brown. The blip was taken about 3.30pm in the afternoon (I ran out of the office to grab it) yet you can already see many lights on in the offices. A couple of extras too, taken around 6pm after work. More colours and very much not the usual over London.

Annie had a day in Bristol. She set off home in good time to avoid getting caught in any bad weather and to be home for an Open University online tutorial. Soon after it started however our power went off. Apparently due to an incident involving farm machinery and power lines. She used her laptop tethered to her mobile to stay in the tutorial as long as batteries allowed. Power was restored around 9.30pm (else you wouldn't be seeing a blip tonight!).
