wierd weather
Monday was a strange day for weather all over the UK it seems as Storm Ophelia passed through. We had a really full day just taking our time and doing what seemed right next. We all agreed it had been a marvellous day we will remember for a long time. The day started at Fairyland tea shack at Grasmere, where I tried to capture the strange light in the main blip.
We strolled around Grasmere, the church, Heaton Cooper art gallery and NT Allan Bank. The new tea room built onto Heaton Coopers is a delight for good architecture and the food is even better !
The extra blip tries to capture the leaves falling like snow in the wind.
The evening was spent at Zeff's cinema in Ambleside watching Goodbye Christopher Robin (no one warned me it was that sad), recommended. Topped off with a meal at Dodd's. The perfect day and the weather never got too extreme.
