It's proper name is Ashover Stone. Its less than 30 mins from home and I didn't know about it until last week. Whilst on holiday with Pam and Gary, they were txt Gary's father who now lives in Oxfordshire. He was asking if I had photo'd the spot as he had engraved his initials in the rock as a boy, whilst living in Clay Cross.
