On the wild side!

It was bright and sunny but the wind strength had almost reached dangerous proportions. L and I went to the harbour but we had to hang on to each other to keep our feet. We watched a couple of wind surfers, one was having the time of his life scudding over the tempestuous waves, the other had difficulty getting up on his board.

As you can see from the photo I had difficulty keeping the camera lens free from the salty spray so I only took a couple of shots of the sea.

By the afternoon the weather was almost, but not quite benign and the beach was fairly busy with families having fun and games on the sand. The two little girls in the extra shot were having great fun jumping from the top of the sand pile and then climbing back up again but what they didn't like was the sand that accumulated in their wellies.
