getting a mammogram isn't something any of us women - necessarily look forward to on any given day - but these days the equipment used is able to detect - a pinpoint of potential trouble - so isn't it worth it to take 20 minutes out of your schedule - okay, it's more like an hour - but truly it's worth it

i know because i just experienced my own exam - only to have it come back positive - now i need to go back for follow/up - testing to compare or contrast or whatever it is they do - breast cancer runs in my family so i'm trying not to freak out - it's just an abnormal blip in a scan - which could be nothing - i need to realize this is a good thing for me - if it turns into something not great - i can be thankful for early detection - and that's the whole point of bcam - to bring awareness to the cause - so more individuals can know what it's like to have...
