Why does it always rain on me?

Artistically full of merit but the varnish beneath is wet too, and the evidence will remain. Lovely sunny spells lull me into false optimism. Then the downpours remind me we live in a land of prevaiiling westerlies ('O' level geography') and in the rain shadow of the Black Mountains.

Two inaccessible windows upstairs need to be removed from the inside to be painted. Better get on before the winter comes then!

So progress is slow, but sure. Could do better.
