A gift from Islamabad

I met with a new colleague for the first time today and he brought me a gift from his home town of Islamabad. I first went there after the earthquake in 2005, a very difficult time, but I remember my surprise at the wide tree-lined streets and the lovely views over the 'grid' of streets from the Margalla Hills... and the strange directions to neighbourhood sectors identified by grid references (is D3 next to E3 or D4?) but then as Syed reminded me, it is often described as "15 minutes from Pakistan"....

Thank you Syed for the lovely gift - now I just have to think of something very British to send back with him for his family .... any ideas?
