Up above the clouds

Today we had a sweaty climb up the mighty Vesuvius. It was a little hazy so didn't have amazing views but still awesome none the less! Toby and Eva did really well as it was pretty steep. They enjoyed looking across the crater and walking round the edge but needed lots of reassurance that it wasn't going to erupt any minute!! They were really hyper on the train on the way home so we had to send them running round the town square a couple of times before we went to the supermarket!! Having dinner at the apartment tonight to save some pennies for a trip to Capri (and because the children are too wild tonight to expect them to sit quietly in a restaurant). Looking like it's going to be mega expensive to visit!! Extra pics of the climb up Vesuvius.
