Those books look much more interesting

This is Ffion, she was born the day the London Olympics started. Apparently various family members suggested that she be called Olympia but Mum and Dad resisted. Coincidentally the only other baby I have blipped so far is also called Ffion. Prior to last year I had never personally known a Ffion and now 2 have come along at once.

We hoofed it down to Bristol and met Ffion for the first time today. She is gorgeous, as are all babies! It was great to see her and her proud Mummy and Daddy. We went for a walk down to the river and had a lovely lunch outside in a near gale force wind.... no rain though, so that was a bonus.

The minute we crossed the Severn Bridge in to Wales, the heavens opened... big time , but we managed to make it to Pete's Aunt Aniela's without too much grief.
