Faugeres

We pass through the village of Faugeres several times a week. Each time we pass I am drawn to an amazing garden built on an almost vertical rocky plot. The owner is the most amazing dry-stone wall builder and his garden is a testament to his skill. There are walkways and staircases built exquisitely from the rocks to hand. It really is a joy to see.

Faugeres is justly proud of its geology which produces the most delicious wine and fantastic stone walls. I love both.
