Hat number 2
A lot of travelling today and in absolutely awful wet weather!
We wanted to go to the Shopping Mall at Cribbs Causeway as Grace had a number of things to return or exchange and wanted to do it whilst I was with her. Quite a long bus journey as it goes around the houses, literally.
We headed straight to John Lewis, you can see Granny in action in the extra. When Grace had exchanged a gifted footmuff for one more suited to their buggy we headed to the cafe so we could have a drink and Eda could be fed. Lots of people came up to speak to me when I was holding Eda, intrigued by her age and size. It was lovely and I was able to tell them she is 3 weeks old today.
After her feed she was quite awake and seemed quite taken by Marks and Spencer's, that bodes well. Then the long bus ride home.
Just time for a feed, drink and bite to eat and then we had to walk - in the rain - down to the Health Centre for Grace to attend a Dr's appt. I took this shot when we arrived. She is wearing a mark two hat knit by Granny, the one that matched her cardigan is now a bit too small!
There were signs in the Health Centre about filming and we were approached to give our consent for Grace's consultation to be filmed (Even Eda had to have a consent form) We were then 'miked up'!
Not sure if I relish the idea of being on TV and I doubt Grace does in these circumstances but after her photographic experiences yesterday maybe TV is the next logical step for Eda!
It is a programme called GP (something) on Channel 5 and we will get a phone call if the footage is to be used!
