Russian Tea Cakes

I had lunch today with one of my favorite people who brought me four* Russian tea cakes.  While he and his wife are two very thoughtful people and certainly might have been responsible for the gift, the tea cakes came from their cat along with a special card of her own making.  She's one of my dearest friends and never fails to do something that brightens my day.

*For those of you who see only three Russian tea cakes, I ate the fourth on the way home and I'm not one bit sorry.
