Paul McCartney and Flowers

Some "kitchen sink realism" from John Bratby in Kirklees Art Gallery. The best attempt I could make at Flower Friday!

Sarah and I went along to the the History Of Magic exhibition at the library - there we hobnobbed with the Lord Mayor and ate free cake shaped like Castle Hill with a dragon wrapped around it. Afterwards we wandered around the Art Gallery and spotted Paul McCartney nestled along with a couple of Lowrys, and the offerings of the local art society - see extras for a lovely rendition of a very familiar scene for me.
