Black cap meets Blackbird

Black caps are known to stay in the UK after September although it's normal for them to head to a warmer climate - they eat seeds and insects although fat balls are going down well in recent days.

John did some browsing and apparently more birds are over wintering in the UK possibly due to garden feeders. We are delighted to see him on the food tray, the only opportunity to capture his black head.
