This one's for rainie :)

I nearly fell over when I saw the beautiful flower that rainie blipped yesterday. Up until last Wednesday I had never heard of a Lewisia. CCN and I bought one from our local nursery to plant in a nice white ceramic pot and we hope it will live happily on the kitchen bench. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw rainie's blip as I had so very nearly photographed ours to post and then I had seen the Waratahs in the mist. I hope you like it rainie :)

We have just returned home from Sydney. We drove down this morning to see the Carol King musical. Wow, talk about a walk down memory lane. What an incredible woman she is. We relived all of those incredible songs that she made famous on her "Tapestry Album" . It was great to see and of course to catch up with some very good friends at the same time. We ended up singing all the way home.
