Dogwood???

Well I'm really not sure and I'm hoping that my botanical blip buddies will be able to tell me exactly what this glorious flower is.  I have been passing a large almost tree size specimen of it for the past couple of weeks and it's really out in its full glory at the moment.

We're back home at Wombat Hollow tonight and yes, the fire is on again.  It's still not quite warm enough to spend a night without it.  It's always good to drive down to the house after a trip to Sydney.  It's okay once you get to where you're going but it's the getting there and back that really takes the fun out of it.
