saturday serenade

Out in the garden first thing to prepare the plants for the arrival of Storm Brian which is due this afternoon with 40/50mph winds!  Have rescued as many flowers as I can and brought them indoors to enjoy - so now to wait and see what the weather brings our way!

Had a  lovely companion - other than archie the bunny! - who whistled while i worked! Probably hoping I'd uncover some extra food for him!

Afternoon plans are to hide under a blanket with The Book of Dust - started reading it last night and am already hooked!!
