"Brian" storming.
We checked the high tide times before we went to bed last night, and the high tide was due at Porthcawl this morning just after 08.08. When J woke me up, and said, do you want to go to Porthcawl & get a blip, I was so very tempted to stay in my warm, cosy bed. Then I thought, why not, and we got ready in about ten minutes. This in itself, is a record for me, as I never go anywhere, and I mean anywhere, without out my make up. I threw caution to the wind, literally, and off we went. We had difficulty getting a place to park, and had to walk quite a distance. and we were wet before we got to the harbour, but the waves were spectacular. With all the clothes I had on, I was barely recognizable, so I thought, when a man stood in front of me and waved. It was one of the guys from church, so maybe I didn't look too bad. We must have been there about an hour, and we were soaking wet, but at no time did we get too close to the edge.like some silly people. Was it worth, oh yes, just to see the power of nature. See my extra shots. It was so difficult to choose which one I liked the best, and maybe some of you will disagree, but I liked them all. Hope this might qualify for Silly Saturday, and thanks to admirer for hosting.
