The Hunter Gate Guardian

Another day of painting and decorating to help my son in law.

On the way home I diverted to RAF Halton, near Wendover. The blip is the Hawker Hunter F6 which is their gate guardian, and been so since June 1986, it replaced a Spitfire.

The Hawker Hunter entered service in October 1956.
