Turn Autumn leaves to compost
A busy day gardening in the sunshine.
Raspberry canes tied in, trees pruned and then to a new task.
Following advice from Monty Don, Gardener’s World, we have constructed a leaf container from stakes and chicken netting. We have filled it with fallen leaves, watered the leaves and await the fungi which will break down the leaves to make compost, in 12 months. Gardeners need to be patient!
