Post Brian

Well Brian has roared and rumbled all night and most of the day but incredibly our electricity and internet haven't gone off. I feel very fortunate as friends near Schull have had no power for 6 days now. Scary though - severe gusts but no more obvious damage. It finally stopped raining and the wind went down to super fresh rather than blooming fierce so I ventured out for a bracing walk around the circuit. large rocks and seaweed all over the roads but no other damage, everything glistening and shimmering.

I have amused myself with a new blog entry, musing upon blessed fish, as you do. 

Fineen showed up around 3pm very hungry and windswept. We had a trot around the swamp garden.
