New to Me

All up late so it was more a brunch than breakfast and we waved Tim, Adele and the boys off early afternoon.
We decided once again not to go to Wales and are going to look closely at the weather forecast before making a decision.
I already imagine the rattan furniture that we left on the deck there is now fields away thanks to Storm Brian.
Went for a walk late afternoon as the light was starting to fade, one of those sort of days l had to force myself out but once out really enjoyed it.
Think l know where l live really well but this weather vane attracted my attention for the first time today.
Couldn't understand why l hadn't seen it before but then reasoned to myself it's probably hidden by leaves, no chance of that happening for a few months now.
