Good knight

A lovely start to the morning, the best so far. We spent sometime just taking in the view and enjoying the warmth of the sun. The garden was busy with the little birds and then two Sea eagles flew overhead, just a quick glimpse as they soared into the trees. A buzzard flew in the other direction.
After a cup of tea we went to the Cuckoo tree studio which was just down the road. Some lovely artwork , we bought two prints, one of a Highland cow ( a view from the Village hall where the Corncrake talk was held ) and a heron.
Down to Stein to have lunch in the Inn. We heard a quad bike coming towards us and two Border Collies were having a race in front of it, having so much fun.
We enjoyed lunch in the Inn , a soup and Salmon platter.
It had clouded over when we came out, had a quick walk and then on the Skeabost Bridge where we explored Columba's Isle. The site of the 12th Century cathedral of the Isles http://www.britainexpress.com/scotland/Skye/skeabost-chapel.htm
We found the great carving of the 16th century night. So much detail still showing all these years later. An interesting site which we explored alone.I did wonder if the badgers were watching as I found a footprint in the mud which I'm pretty sure was a badgers paw.
