Slipstream, Heathrow Airport, Terminal 2

I went up to the airport today to take care of some admin - no flying today! This amazing sculpture - Slipstream - welcomes you as you approach Terminal 2. Its very hard to get a good shot of the whole thing - at least with my humble iPhone camera!

From Heathrow’s website:

Slipstream was commissioned by Heathrow to welcome passengers to the UK’s hub airport and has been curated by public arts agency Futurecity. Measuring 78 metres, the sculpture’s twisting aluminium form is inspired by the world of aviation and captures the imagined flight path of a small stunt plane.
