The Candelabra Tree
We had a walk today at Ashridge, a National Trust woodland property,
They are celebrating their old trees. We found this one, called the Candelabra Tree. It is an oak tree which has been cut or pollarded at an earlier stage of its life and regrown to resemble a candelabra. It was probably part of a hedgerow many years ago. It looks good on this grey Autumn day.
