Second Flush

We'd noticed one of the two clematis by the front door was growing fresh greenery, but were very surprised when this flower actually opened so late in the year and with another bud to follow too:-)  Lots of late (or early?) flowers this year, as shown by many blippers.

Doctor's appointment this afternoon and yet another drug to add to the collection of pain relief.  Hope this one will help me get some sleep at night!
