Goodbye Stockbridge Red Lion Hotel

Fabulous stay at this old world charm hotel in the most perfect Americana town. The very famous Main Street painting at Christmas by artist Norman Rockwell looks exactly the same today as when he painted it in the late '60s. In fact they recreate it annually right down to replica cars, shoppers and Christmas decorations. We had a late start, enjoyed a 50's style diner breakfast on Main Street and then strolled and shopped (i was able to do some Christmas shopping too). We then headed north to Canada back home along a very scenic drive, enjoying all the fall colours. I have a 2 hr training/staff meeting at the gym i teach at tonight then we have to get ready to return to work on Tuesday (yuck...we enjoy holidays so much more).
