Spindle

Euonymus europaeus is not native to North America, but it is common enough nowadays in scrub and undergrowth. Imported as an ornamental, it has become almost a nuisance in some areas. Its home is in Europe and eastern Asia. 
The extra is a shot of Hypnum cupressiforme  which grows happily enough in our damp spots but which can be purchased for $119 per 24 square feet! There are people who actually make lawns of moss!
