The tiny little beetle on an old bowl shown in the extra was to have been my blip but there didn’t seem to be enough detail so I decided that the bit of red seaweed that I collected would be preferable.  I am uncertain of its identification but its fronds are tiny, in fact the piece of seaweed is about 5 cm long and looks good in a bowl of water.  The beetle was about 4mm long and looked beautiful with its iridescent colours but I hope it’s not a type of weevil although it’s a lot prettier than the dreaded vine weevil.
