The Solution to Christmas!

OK - felling rubbish today so havn't gone out looking for a blip - just taken about 30 tablets of various kinds to get rid of this sore throat.

Instead - the previously promised 'Solution to Christmas'

The point is this

The Mayan long calender thingy ends on 21st December. On this day there is a probability that the world (or life on Earth) will end by
a) An asteroid colliding with the Earth
b) A rogue planet (called Planet X sometimes) sweeping in from the outer solar system and distrupting the Sun or Earth so much that all life will end
c) A solar allignment with the Galaxy resulting in massive super volcanos eruptions that will blank out the sky for decades and sent tidal waves sweeping over all land masses
d) some other stuff probably

Of course the probabilty is quite low - but people do the Lottery every day

Anyway - all bad so far

BUT remember - this is just before Christmas

SO - there isn't really any point in buying loads of presents for people, planning parties, visits etc that you don't really want anyway, sending cards to people you havn't seen for a millions years

etc etc etc

Then - in the unlikely event that we are all still here - you have a good excuse for having picked up a loads of cheap presents in ASDA at the last minute

Just memorise this
"WHOW - we are all still here - who knew!"

There - all the Christmas panic avoided


p.s. may still get S a present just in case - I suspect the trouble caused by not getting her something decent may make the end of the world seem trivial (Nictor may be advised to hede the same advise with Mrs Nictor)
